Hey how did you set yours up? I have 7.2, so I ran a splitter out of the receiver (1 channel to the front s, 1 to the rears). I have 2 subs in the front, 3 in the back, so I had to run another splitter to the center rear sub. Is that pretty much how you did yours?

I have a 9.3 system with a Transducer under the couch for the shaking Don't worry about splitting channels because all 9 of my speakers 3 passive subwoofers & Transducer are driven off separate amplifiers from a 7.1 receiver

Well I own 5 subs but only using three in my main set-up. The other two are in the gym room set-up. Are you multi sub owners using subs to correct nulls in your listening space, or just doing it cause you can?

I run a total of 5 as well. 2 Definitive Technology Supercube Reference up front run through a DSPeaker anti mode 8033 eq system. I have 3 Supercube IIs in the back of the room. The ones in the corners are fed LFE while the one in the middle is run speaker level off of one of the rear back surrounds, so the only time it hits is when a signal below 50 hz is sent to that channel......which happens a lot it seems.

They're sweet, and very, very fast. No hollow "booming" sound, even though in my build, I ported them. Incredible subs...

I wound up running two sets of splitters off one output, and the run the ST's in "full range" mode without separate inputs into the sub part of the speaker. It's very, very smooth, even at high output.

I went from one subwoofer to two and I still cannot believe the phenomenal difference it makes! It is almost as if I am listening to a completely different HT setup, I can only imagine how 4 would sound
Do not have the money or urge to get two more though, very happy with the sound my HT produces right now.

More subwoofers is helpful in smoothing the room response. As far as output goes, the benefits are usually minimal after the adding the second. The response from 2 powerful subwoofers can be better than say 10 entry levels subwoofers.
My point is what kind of subwoofer could be more important than how many.

Just think, if everybody rolled like that, Ex-Lax would go out of business.

How can you hear the answer when you're deaf and your backbone has been reduced to gravel?

At least you're smiling about it. I know I would.
