Default Who here doesn't have a HDTV? Be honest.

I myself am one of those people. I'm just trying to get a job near my place so I can get the money for one. Unfortunatly, I've had no luck.

I got one in March but, it's not one to brag about. I'm happy with it though. 32" RCA.

I just got mine in May because I just got a new job (I'm a high school English teacher). But before that I had a regular old CRT 32" RCA for about 7 years. Be patient and wait for the best deal.

patience is key. i had my old tv for 15 years and it was destroying my eyes. I finally got the upgrade in February and i'm absolutely in awe. Worth the wait and good luck in your job searching

I had a 60" Mitsubishi , its the square non HDTV version, bought like 6-8 years ago. we upgraded it in No to a 73" Mitsubishi DLP from amazon. We have a 32" HDTV upstairs we had since xmas 2006(I had the ps3 hooked up there til we got this one)

Living in a dormitory, using a usb tv tuner to play my PS3 on my laptop. It's blurry as hell, has horrible input lag, and the sound crackles sometimes. Just terrible. Back home, I had a 27" Advent CRT HDTV, though I'll be taking my bro's old Westinghouse 27" LCD when I get back. Not the greatest set (looked pretty washed out when I saw my bro using it before), but it should hold me over till I save up for a 32" XBR6 or something.

I'm still putting along with a 35" Mitsu CRT (nearly 10 yrs old, and it was even a floor model). I am planning on upgrading soon. It's a precarious balance between, I'm really curious to see how long this thing can live (I'm not dead yet- don't throw me out!), and I really cannot justify just spending the money on a nice, new flat panel when I already have a perfectly working tv (for the time being). So I wait until there is an impetus that will dictate that a purchase be executed...

While I love my new HDTV, I was not unhappy with my 32" RCA. The only thing(s) was that it was not WS or HD and it weighed like 200 lbs. My 50" plasma weighs just under 100 lbs. Again, be patient and do lots of research when purchasing any HDTV and get as much resolution as you can afford. Remember that you will probably have this TV for a few years.
My old RCA was still going strong when I gave it to my niece for her dorm room. She thought it was awesome.

I just bought my Samsung 52" LCD tv just over 2 weeks ago and love it, before we had a 27" CRT which works great and is not in our bedroom, but I dont like watching it anymore since we got the new tv. I also just got a PS3 this father's day, only because of walmarts $100 GC promo. Unfortanately now i can not watch SD tv as i was used to, now im spoiled.
