Sweet Jesus!! Oh man, i would be soooo pissed, and have been. Ive posted pics of a box i got from Amazon.de through DHL and it was entirely mangled but the steels were secured in tight plastic on a slab of cardboard and weren't damaged luckily. That is just unacceptable, i imagine you've got in touch with them, i would, their CS is actually pretty good. All my japanese orders come through them and ive had alot of problems lately with orders inexplicably being sent back in mid-transit to the seller or sitting with the delivery courier for a week, totally bizzare stuff. I hope you get it in one piece and timely.

Yeah, they replace them with no problem when issues occur but they said they don't have control about the shipping method. I just never though they would send one steel using DHL...

I'm honestly surprised by how similar most of the announced steelbooks are for this movie (with exception that the usa cover has Cap with his mask and the international one does not). But hopefully there will be some cool inside art instead of nothing.

That looks beautiful wow! I wish I was looking at this steel book in my living room lol. I think glossy is the way to go. It's probably my favorite. The finish of Skyfall, Thor Dark World Best Buy version, and Iron Man 3 chips so easily. One small shift of the steel books causes a scratch or chip . The finish of Cap 2 based on the pictures above seems like it'll be more durable. It also looks pretty cool with the embossing of the shield.

Well Best Buy's is different because only the title is debossed on that where this has a frame and embossing.

BB will be a matte for sure and probably the same crappy matte as Thor 2. I will probably sell my Thor 2 since I'm getting the blufans one.

It's not that bad, really. I shared a video a couple days ago that someone from Future Shop put out that showed the finish. It's a good matte finish. Doesn't seem to wash out like Thor 2 did.

If that's the case I may pick it up. Don't get me wrong, I want it to be a good finish and I'll always give it a try. Thor 2 finish was just SOOOO bad its making me gunshy. Its one of those steelbooks thats valuable despite its crappy finish because its more limited. The X-Men Origins Wolverine from Play.com is just as crappy as Thor 2 BB but it the combination of it being OOP/OOS, the only steel for the movie, and import costs, makes it sought after.
