The Watch

Does anyone know if "The Watch" require being run through a special program (like Abraham Lincoln or Prometheus)? I tried using the generic XML disc and the actual XML and no luck redeeming...thanks in advance.

No, it shouldn't need any additional steps. I redeemed that one with the generic XML code.

Is it giving you an error message or just not showing up in your account?

Shows up valid for VuDu but iTunes if giving me an 'Invalid code' error

Hmm. Only thing that I can think of is that it's a code from Walmart that is missing the iTunes portion. I know Walmart issued special codes like that with a number of Paramount titles. Not sure about Fox though.

Edited to add: Did the initial release of The Watch even comes with UV? I think the database listing may be wrong. If it didn't, then the code you have is definitely a Walmart exclusive code.

Yes, I had a member who ran it through the program for me. It wouldn't redeem without be "converted" first.

I attempted to redeem with the actual disc and got an Invalid error.
Brand new blu too. UV worked, iTunes did not say redeemed, just invalid.

Hmm, maybe they are expired. I know that iTunes codes for Shame are no longer working either.

i thought "Shame" never worked on iTunes, that it was some sort of Android download code due to the MPAA rating or some such?

I just bought Shame last week and found that it is Android only. What a shame. It may still work but i didn't go any further once i found that out.


Also I just redeemed The Watch from another code with a disc and yes you have to use the Fox digital copy to enter the printed code and it will give you a new one. the first will come up invalid.

You're right. I picked up Shame from Best Buy a few days ago and the packaging has an Android logo rather than an iTunes logo. First time I've ever come across this.
