First time I've seen any interior art...I like it.
I'm assuming this will be available on AmazonJP?

Ok, so this movie was originally a Japanese book? I guess that makes it slightly better, but still doesn't read right....

Dude, this is badass. Original title + no 3D on front or spine.

I'd pick it up if they removed that God awful title.

That awful title is the ONLY reason to pick it up. It's the original title. Seems like all other steels with come with either EDGE OF TOMORROW or LIVE. DIE. REPEAT...

or both...

easy buy for me! Love it!!

All I see is "All you need is Love".

I'm actually tempted to get this due to the title!

I was interested to see this, then I saw the link to the Japanese version a month ago or so and saw that title. I was like, that's badass! I need to see this! And then for the rest of the day at work I was singing in my head, "All you need is kill... Doo do do do". It really doesn't make sense, and I understand it's the name of the original Japanese manga, but I like it!

It looks pretty slick and I like the alternate title( "All You Need Is Kill"). One nitpick though...on Amazon Japan's page, on the back of the steelbook( the one with gorgeous Emily Blunt), the credits have the movie title as "Edge of Tomorrow". It kind of ruins the continuity for me.

I'd like to think it will definitely drop to $60, maybe $55. Keep in mind that AmazonJP will remove tax for international shipments, so that will further drop the final cost. You can preorder now, and cancel if, when release date approached, you don't like the price.

It does make sense. Think of it as in a sentence like someone saying "we need to run and hide" and someone responding "you don't need run, you don't need hide, all you need is kill".

Edge Of Tomorrow is one of the most vacuous titles I've ever heard, simply random words made into a phrase that has no meaning. The standard packing for the US release seems to have the Live.Die.Repeat tag much larger than the Edge Of Tomorrow title. All You Need Is Kill may not make a lot of sense but it sounds better and is at least the title of the English translation of the book.

Unless another steel is released with Blunt looking straight at you and the words "I WANT YOU", this is the version I'll be getting.

I need a separate account with Amazon Japan I believe? The European Amazons and the US/Canadian ones are all linked...

Question! I signed up with Amazon Japan and couldn't find the Steelbook using their search engine, only the 2D Amaray and the 2D + 3D "First Limited Production" (I think it's called; something similar anyway) edition, which is probably an Amaray in a slip. I used the link on here and after ordering, and clicking on "review order", the Steelbook isn't what I've ordered- it's the "First Limited" thingamajig.

Is there a mix up somewhere?
