South Korea "Sorum" 2001 on Blu-ray

Has anyone seen "Sorum" (2001) with the late Mrs. Jang Jin-yeong - which had a Blu-ray released last year (2013-10-10) ? Is the movie wort checking out, and is this release worth getting (that is if the movie is good) ?

I just bought it so I will let you know how it is when it comes in the mail (unless someone chimes in before that).

I just became aware this title is available on BD.
It's a personal favourite, so I'll be picking it up soon.

I just noticed a few retailers (such as Yesasia) have two listings for this title: one for a limited edition digipack (listed as region-free), and a "regular" release, in a keepcase (for some reason listed as region-A).

I prefer to have regular packaging, which can easily be replaced in case it somehow gets damaged, so I was wondering:
-is there any difference between the two releases, content-wise?
-is the later re-release really region-locked A?

Also, can anyone that owns this release please confirm if the short films that where included on the limited edition DVD set are included on this recent BD?

thanks

The discs are the same content-wise, just different pressings. The short films are unfortunately not included.

The first release is indeed region-free but I can't confirm whether the second one is as well. For what it's worth, I do own a few other BDs from them that are region-free even if the back of the case states region A.

If you do go ahead and buy it, be advised that they used a fairly dated master. It looks better than the DVD but I was still a bit underwhelmed.
