A small note: The current pre-order price for this release is ¥4,710. Interested parties may wish to pre-order now.
The recent pre-order for the Japanese MetalPak of Rush from Pony Canyon (which was limited to 4,000 copies and cost the ¥6,264 list price on Amazon) sold out in mere days. |

Not that I quibble over this sort of thing, but I just took a look, and it seems only the German Müller Exclusive uses anything similar. In any event, even that SB is not identical, and the Japanese SB has the Japanese title Riddick: Galaxy Battle on the front, and the title in Kanji on the spine.
I am more concerned about the presentation of the film, however. ![]() |

I love the spine on this steel, but even at 4710 yen it still works out at over £40 shipped to the UK, which is a bit steep for a movie I dislike so much.

It looks like this is set to increase from ¥4,690 to ¥5,324 momentarily...
EDIT: Just did. I saw it reflected in the listing before it migrated to the actual product page. Last edited by McCrutchy; 04-28-2014 at 03:44 AM. Reason: ED |

Im not sure what the bitrate is on this, but im betting its higher than the US release seeing each version(unrated&theatrical) has its own disc, which i would think would give each version room to breathe, each being on a BD-50. At the very least i'd think each version would have many less compression issues compared to the US release.
