Has yours turned up yet IJ? Mine has, and it was encased in cardboard before being put in the jiffy mailer, I think I have you to thank for that (especially because the postie literally just forced it thru the letterbox).

I am at work but hopefully that means it's waiting for me at home

As for the packaging I am sure they would have added it anyway without the email I sent requesting they put it in something more than just a jiffy bag.

I dunno man. Like I said, I've had stuff from them literally just wrapped in plastic, no padding or nothing. So you have my thanks for asking them to protect it, because mine would've ****ed by the way that the postie jammed it into my slot. Oo-er.

It does indeed. Geoff D's picture shows how glossy it is, it looks matt in the other pictures. Fingers crossed Amazon don't put it in a JiffyBag. It's something I'd like to keep minty fresh.

It is matt, it only looks glossy with the plastic wrap still on it.

Sneaky shmeaky. I just didn't take the wrapping off, that's all. People were demanding pics before I'd even had a chance to unwrap it.

If the Into Darkness discs get an individual release, I maybe tempted. The film didn't really do it for me like the first one, but I am a sucker for a shiny disc!

Although I did see it in IMAX, and the presentation was fantastic, especially the opening act. Would love to see that in 1.78:1 as is on this disc.

Never know, might enjoy it second time round, but already owning the Play exclusive steel of the first, I don't want to splash out on the compendium set.

Looks like I'll need to take my ST and STID steelbooks to CeX then.
At least with the Compendium, there'll be no chance of being mucked around with bonus features again.

Not fond of the import price though.

Well at least you got it out of the packaging before taking a picture!

It looks great, I'm tempted to risk Standard Shipping on my order. I have a couple of days to decide. Knowing me Amazon will ship Ghostbusters I and II Digibook with it and I'll be stung anyway but at least then I'll get that money back!

I sold my steelbooks to fund The Compendium, got £28 for my Play SB of Star Trek and £17 for my ES SB of Into Darkness so after buying the new release I am still £20 in profit.

Oh and tried the Into Darkness disc earlier, those IMAX scenes

The only problem with my ST and STID steelbooks though, is that I bought ST from ebay, and it wasn't in the best condition when I got it. It was a time when I wasn't bothered about steelbooks.

And my STID steelbook has one of your custom bonus features disc in it, which means I no longer have the 3D disc that came with it.

I doubt CeX would take mine.

(Thank you again for the custom disc by the way. I guess the only things that are new in the Compendium, are the blooper reel, several theatrical trailers, two new featurettes and deleted scenes for STID. If you could make a v2 of your disc with the blooper reel, deleted scenes, the theatrical trailers and the two new featurettes included, it would save me from getting a CeX related headache. Just something to consider... )

Could always try eBay, sure someone would give you enough for them to cover the cost of the Compendium, my Into Darkness didn't have the 3D disc either but contained the Best Buy and Target Bonus Discs.

The IMAX footage is an absolute joy to watch. My thoughts on The Compendium are here: http://film.thedigitalfix.com/conten...ompendium.html
