Just saw this film not too long ago, via Netflix disc rental. I enjoyed it. I think they did a good job recreating the 70's looks/vibe.

Yes, it's a nice steelbook and the movie was a pleasant surprise, both from the well handled 70's setting/soundtrack, and the unexpected 'domestic drama' main theme, as opposed to the formulaic action movie it could have been in another director's hands.

Kind of a distant, European paced cousin to 'Carlito's Way'? Fantastic acting through out, particularly from James Caan.

Makes me want to find out more about the French source material (movie & novel).
