"Disaster Movie" = SUCK! - Page 3 - Blu-ray Forum

Just watched the trailer and oh my god am I pissed that the script even got put through and made into a movie. About three quarters of the spoofs weren't even from "Disaster" movies haha so dumb. The only funny part was the Zohan spoof.

Hmmm... Meet the Spartans was hilarious (though dumb), and I can't figure out how ANYONE could get off calling these movies dumb, when mentioning "Bad Santa" as good.... WTH? The likelihood of Carmen and Kim being "nude" in the movies will likely draw a bunch of people to the flick (it's cheaper than any of their other nude alternatives.) I probably won't go see Disaster Movie, as I didn't see Epic Movie, Superhero movie, or some of their others. Incredibly dumb, yet funny movies are only good once ever year or so. Therefore, I do agree that we shouldn't have 10 released each year, as we are on pace for this year.

it really is a shame that morons ya i said morons support retarded movies like this, i mean the shawshank redemption made around 29 million domestically and meet the spartans makes $40 million, you know there's something wrong when that happens, oh well what are you going to do right.

Zohan and Love Guru...So, they're reduced to spoofing movies that nobody had even SEEN yet (outside of overexposed trailers) when they were writing it?

Did you multiply that $29 million by four or five to factor in inflation? IF as many people saw Shawshank by today's standards, it would have grossed well over $100 million. Not to mention "word of mouth" about such excellent movies. Yet you throw out "moron" so readily.

I support these movies so they make more just so I can read a thread about everybody flipping out about them being made. It's like just because this movie is coming out your personal world is coming to an end! It's funnier to read these threads then to watch the movies sometimes!

I just saw Get Smart (Great btw) and it had a preview for DM. it was so strange to have a theater completely silent. that looked horrid.

I actually laughed pretty good during Superhero Movie. That may have been from Leslie Nielsen, I don't know. But it is going to take alot more than that to recover from Date Movie, Epic Movie, and Meet the Spartans. Terrible, terrible movies.

I just don't understand how these movies make money. They obviously are or else they wouldn't keep making these horrible movies. I stopped watching them after Scary Movie 2. No more Wayans Bros.

Almost all of these movies are horrid. They make Scary Movie look like Shakespeare. Although I did watch Meet the Spartans, only for Nicole Parker.

That's because Superhero Movie, despite its name, is not from the same people as Epic, Date, and Extra Crappy Movie. Craig Mazin also wrote Scary Movie 3 and Scary Movie 4. Not that much better, but better.
