Yes, Sonic Xtreme, quite possibly the greatest game never released. The game was originally going to be on the Mega Drive/Genesis. Then production shifted over to the disastrous 32X, before it was going to be on the Saturn. Originally, the game was gonna use a modified version of the NiGHTS engine, until it used the fish eye lens engine that you see from this video. If you want to know more, heres the Wiki entry:

I remember waiting for this game to come out, too bad it never did. Same with Castlevania for Dreamcast.

The game has been waiting for blu-ray. The blu-ray disc can hold enough information to allow this great video game series to be completed. Damn you sega, make Shenmue III for PS3.

BC:

BC was going to be an action-adventure video game in development for Microsoft's Xbox video game system by Intrepid Computer Entertainment, a satellite of Lionhead Studios. It was cancelled in 2004, having been in development for seven years - initially on PlayStation, then on PC and finally on Xbox; BC was canceled because Microsoft had created a cut-off time for first party Xbox titles and BC was unable to be completed in time.

Set in a Harryhausen-esque prehistoric time period, BC featured the player having to advance their tribe in a world inhabited by dinosaurs and other anachronistic creatures.

I actually played B.C. at a trade show back in, um 2003 or 2004, not sure which year. It was pretty cool, but it still needed a little bit of work.

Given that you could fit both Shenmue 1 and 2 (Dreamcast versions) on a single layer DVD once you eliminate the redundant data on each GD-ROM...no.

Any Shenmue 3 would use a port of the XBox engine more than likely. They would be doing it as cheaply as possible.(Bring it on mind you)

I'm still sick over Oddworld shutting down. Stranger's Wrath is my favorite xbox game of all time and I was so looking forward to the next installment- Fangus. But alas, it never arrived.
I've recently heard rumors that Oddworld isn't dead, but I'll believe it when I see it.

The Engine is very dated and needs revised. The controlls are clunky (try playing a game with fluid controls, then play Shenmue 1 or 2 and you will see a difference).

I dont think you could fit both Shenmue 1 and 2 on one Duel Layer DVD. Shenmue 1 filled 3 GD-ROMs and a GD_ROM had a compacity of 1.2 gigabites. Shenmue 2 was on 4 GD_ROMS, you do the math.
