Default Rob Zombie's Tyrannosaurus Rex!

Hadn't heard about this one. I know there are some RZ fans here that might be interested in some artwork for the film:

The tagline is hysterical.

I didn't like Devil's Rejects, but I LOVED House.

Maybe they'll fly this one under the grindhouse flag???

That would be cool.

I agree 100% as I liked House sooo much better than Rejects. Then again, the end of Rejects with Lynard Skynnard playing is priceless as whenever I hear Free Bird I think of that scene.

Whoa! I haven't heard of this one yet, but this has me pretty excited! I love Rob Zombie, have since the days of White Zombie. I even liked the Halloween remake that people either love or hate. Can't wait for this one.

oh, im sorry for voicing my opinion in a public forum.

if the thread title was "Say good things about RZ's T-Rex" then I would be threadcrapping, but just saying that the movie looks bad in the thread about it, is not threadcrapping.

thanks for crapping up the thread, with your lovely addition to it too.

Exactly. The end of Rejects put that one ahead of House for me. That ending was epic.

I'm pretty sure I'll see this movie just because of the tagline.

This HAS to be better than Halloween. Something tells me the lead will be a trailer trashin' psychobilly, same as all his leads...

I never cared about Rob Zombie's films until he remade Halloween which caught my attention. Now he's making a film with dinosaurs in it? Right now, I'm thinking about how much carnage there's going to be in this film. I'll wait until there's a preview.

Not sure who would play the other guy on the left...

I have a feeling this may be the other film in Robert Rodriguez's Grindhouse 2

Machete and this one back to back.. I bet.
Looks kind of like Luis Guzman.

I did not care for The Devils Rejects and I thougt the remake of Halloween was horrible. I understand that remakes are not suppose to be exactly like the original but in my opinion, his version was not even close to the original. I expected so much more. I think his version of Halloween was as good as the 3rd sequel in the series (which was CRAP)

i agree 50% with you as I personally liked Rejects much more.. the whole Dr. Satan thing kinda turned me off of that one.. but Sid Haig is pretty amazing in both movies. But the ending of Rejects... very drawn out slow guns a blazz'n is such a great ending... I never cared for that song until this movie.. Sorry Lynard that it took a Rob Zombie death scene for me to like this song..
This new movie.. poster alone.. sure I'll check it out.

Let's not lose sight of what the term "grindhouse" means.

A grindhouse is an American term for a theater that mainly showed exploitation films. It is also a term used to describe the genre of films that played in such theatres. Grindhouses were known for continuous programs of B movies, usually consisting of a double feature where two (and very often three) films were shown consecutively. Most of these films were made for Drive-in theaters as second and third features. The producers, distributors, and exhibitors of the films were required to provide a large amount of low budget films for double features so would "grind" them out like mincemeat. Beginning in the late 1960s and especially during the 1970s, the subject matter of grindhouse films was dominated by explicit sex, violence, bizarre or perverse plot points, and other explicit malcontent.

I doubt Zombie is just grinding this one out. Also from all reports given so far this looks to be a stand alone project. Zombies movies prior to Halloween all had a retro 60's-70's feel to them. This one looks to dig even deeper into that genre.

Saw this poster on Bloody Disgusting earlier and thought it looked great. It's sad it won't be the real poster, cause it should be.I can't wait to see this thou.

I really never liked House, because it felt like a rip off of better movies with nothing else to add. But Rejects came along and made me a Zombie fan. He has the potential to make Rex something very entertaining. I thought Halloween was an abortion released on the masses. The Zombie added moments was okay and added something new to offer at least. Once the last half hit it became too much of a copy cat of the original without the greatness. He was unable to build any tension at all. It was a disaster in my opinion and one of the worst remakes ever.
