How to get away with Murder: A sexy, suspense-driven legal thriller about a group of ambitious law students and their brilliant, mysterious criminal defense professor. They become entangled in a murder plot and will shake the entire university and change the course of their lives.

Viola Davis was brilliant as always. This was the best pilot I saw so far. Viola delivered a great performance, and the ensemble was an interesting mix of characters. Hopefully, the show will catch on like 'Scandal' because I can see this becoming a staple show for me. I know it is soapy at times, but I do love Scandal and Revenge. It should be very interesting to see if this will be given the "cable" show treatment, as it is said to be limited to 15 episodes or less a season. That may change if the network decides it wants the full 22 order.

How to Get Away with Murder is one of the new autumn/fall US shows which I'm most interested in seeing. It starts in the UK (Universal Channel are showing the series in the UK) on Wednesday 22nd October.

The premiere episode of "How to Get Away with Murder" started with 14 million viewers. Great numbers and hopefully it continues.

No, looks like weekly cases with the ongoing threads of the bigger story of the campus murder (the missing girl) and the students' own cover-up of another murder(?) as flash-fowarded to throughout the pilot.

Just finally got around to watching the pilot of this ...

Being a huge Scandal fan since day 1, I've been excited to see this ever since hearing about it.

It didn't disappoint one bit

a bit predictable (the ending "shocker" especially) but nonetheless just as

-worthy as you'd expect a show to be coming from the creator.

As much as I didn't like her in The Help, Viola Davis was a great casting choice for this role it seems just from 1 episode

Definitely gonna be on Scandal-level of "need-to-watch-live" status for me

That's like asking if you hate Grey's Anatomy will you hate Scandal. Just because it's from the same creator isn't going to make it the same. This is different from Scandal.

Watched the first two episodes this morning. The pilot was ok. I thought the second episode was better and it kind of has me intrigued. I could see this getting boring if every single week is them getting away with murders.

The pilot was boring as hell. Think i will pass on this. Guess i am no fan of Shonda because i don't like any of her shows.

I think the show is fun so far. I've been enjoying it. Ratings have been fantastic as well all three weeks.

Agreed, the previous episodes were a lot better than last night

I thought it was an off-week for 2/3 of "TGIT" all around

I'm enjoying the show as well. Hope it will be resolved by the end of the season though and not drag on for many seasons like Revenge.
