Any cult cinema series won't release until next year.

You are in for a treat of you buy or watch the local or O/S release of THE BURNING on Blu-ray. Uncut with a nice transfer.

Indeed, I watched it last night and it looked great. Watching it on Blu-ray, it lacked the creepiness of my 4:3, shoddy-quality DVD (I'm pretty sure it was sourced directly from a VHS), but it was nice to see all the uncut footage in context.

My Cinema Cult collection is small at the moment but I'm tempted to order a couple more in the near future. So far I've got The Burning and Masters of the Universe on Blu-ray, and Paul Morrissey's Flesh/Trash/Heat trilogy on DVD.

Default Aspect ratio of THE BEYOND

can anyone please confirm the aspect ratio for this title please? The packaging says 1.85:1 but it was shot closer to 2.35:1 (2.39:1 apparently). Thanks

Sepia opening is intact, image is pretty good for what it is, bit of digital noise there, but minimal DNR. DTS-HD MA and a 36.95Mbps bitrate.

does anyone have the BD info for this title please? It would seem you can't rely on packaging.

what is your opinion of the picture quality? Is it the abomination from ARROW or is it Blue Underground?

Killer Klowns from Outer Space & Pasolini's Salo are to be released on the Cinema Cult label on 4th Feb 2015.

Both are searchable on the Screenpop pre-release list.

Fairly certain it went OOP.
Does anyone know if the transfer used for that release was as good as Criterion's? Because I emailed Cinema Cult and they told me they were using the HD master from the previous release, which was provided by MGM.
