Default Miami Vice is the most underrated TV show EVER.

I own all five seasons of Miami Vice.

Got em all lined up on my bookshelf like a pretty little chorus line.

Why you ask?

...because I'm a winner.

I take what I want in life and I don't ask for permission...EVER.

I masturbate five times a day and I don't apologize for it.

Every morning after I get out of bed and every night before I go to sleep I watch an episode of Miami Vice...in the nude.

See that's who I am.

...that's how I roll.

And there's not a thing that you or anyone else can do about it.

I was at the drive thru at Taco Bell the other day and the little lady running the headset said they were all out of the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos.

Well I just gave her the look and she wised up real quick.

I got my Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco.

...oh yeah.

I'll raise you Brothers Keeper and Out Where the Buses don't run for 500

The movie is pretty damn good even though its just a barebones version of Crockett and Tubbs.

Back in the 80s, if this man wanted to f*ck your wife there wasn't nothin you could do about it.

If you were lucky he might leave you a gift basket with an autographed head shot and some memorabilia from the show.

He might even let you watch.

...if you were lucky.

Easily one of the most underrated songs of the decade.

I feel like the Grammy Awards lost all credibility after Don didn't receive a single nomination.

...it was a f*cking embarrassment.

Gawd, what's not to love about this show.

Except they killed off Jimmy Smits before I had a chance to like him as Sonny's partner.

While I may never get over the death of Eddie Rivera, it did pave the way for the glory that was Philip Michael Thomas.

Just look at this great man and contemplate what life could be like with the body of a Greek god and the hair of a Soul Train dancer.

...LOOK AT HIM!!!!!!!!!!

I never watched the show. But the movie was pretty good. I think they should have done another one. Or better yet, bring the universe and tone to the TV for an in continuity series. I think it had a lot of potential.

Saying you've never watched Miami Vice before is like saying you've never had sex.

...like saying you've never seen a sunset.

...like saying you've never had filet mignon.

...like saying you've never been to the Grand Canyon.

...like saying you've never listened to Dark Side of The Moon.

...like saying you've never received a happy ending from a Thai massage therapist in Bangkok.

One day you'll wake up and be 80-years-old, lying on your deathbed and realize you never truly lived.

My fave ep from this show, and one of my fave eps of dramatic tv period, is Out Where the Buses Don't Run. That ending, holy sh|t, when they're driving to meet him and and Dire Straits' Brothers in Arms starts playing, and my god what an ending.

Quote:
The Episode 3 Season2- Out Where The Buses Don't Run begins the slow dark journey of the main characters, Sonny Crockett and Ricardo Tubbs with the arrival of former Metro-Dade Detective Hank Weldon (played chilly by Bruce McGillis...ie Collateral, The Insider, Ali- which incidentally are mostly Micheal Mann's films)

In this climatic scene, Crockett and Tubbs are called in by Weldon after he finally captures a drug kingpin after so many years of investigating. The use of Dire Straits' Brothers--in-Arms provides a subliminal story of multiple resolutions...Watch and Learn-and Enjoy.

"Miami Vice" is my favorite TV series of all time. Needless to say I own all 5 Seasons of the show.

In 1986, when I was fifteen years old I watched every Episode on German TV. I loved Don Johnsonīs Ray Ban sunglasses.

The first 3 Seasons were great. After that the show went down. I didnīt like Season 4...- strange stories about ufoīs etc.... and I didnīt like the Easton episodes and the marriage etc...

I'm lying on my bed watching Miami Vice episodes whilst wearing white linen trousers, a bright blue t-shirt and wayfarers. It wasn't even deliberate, it's just how I roll. I think that this show is having a subliminal influence on me Even my GTA Online character is Sonny Crockett:

Miami Vice gave us Michael Mann, popular music in tv-shows and... questionable clothes fashion.

I do remember watching some of them when I was a little kid though. I always thought it was pretty cool that the hero had a freaking alligator as a pet lol.
