20th Century Fox will release the first season of Gomorra on Blu-ray in Italy on 6 November 2014.

Apparently, the series has been acquired by the Weinstein Company in the States, so who knows what will happen with it.

All four discs in this set are Region B LOCKED.

The main program, bonus features and all menus, are presented in 1080/50i. Each of the first three discs contains four episodes of the series, while the fourth disc (a BD-25) is devoted to the bonus material.

The main feature is presented with 24-bit DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio, and optional, white-font subtitles in Italian and English.

The bonus material is presented with 24-bit DTS-HD MA 2.0 audio, and is not subtitled.

I was just in Rome for vacay and picked up this box set (which says English subs on the back). A friend over there said it's really intense, gripping and bleak -- and in her words, "Italian TV just took a giant leap forward." Can't wait to dive into this one.

Bit of a bump, but the 3-season pack linked below includes a different pressing of S2 with English subtitles. It has a different ISBN (whilst S1 and S3 have the same as their individual releases) - the newer S2 ISBN is 5051891144651. It definitely has English subtitles - I just checked myself. Really pleased Fox re-pressed it with English subtitles and didn't just make a mistake on the outer box / package the old S2 copy without English subtitles!

For each season of this show on this site I have seen a 1080p/24fps and a 1080i/25fps version.

As this was filmed for Italian TV, I would assume this was filmed at native 25fps.

Has the 1080p/24fps version been slowed down to be compatible in NTSC regions or is this mislabeled?

Bit confused as the Italian back cover above states 24fps in a region where there would be no reason to convert.

Any insight would be appreciated.
