Projector is mounted! - Blu-ray Forum

Got the HC1500 mounted and set up last night.

Even on my basement wall the
picture looks pretty good. Plan on mounting the screen tonight, will post pics asap!

I don't see how anyone could go for a standard tv if you have the room for a projector,
I've only got about $875 in the projector, screen, cables, and mounts!

awesome!! can't wait to get into the new house so I can order one (wife won't let me order it early!) can't wait to see the setup!

Yep, love my setup. $725 for the projector...eventually I'll upgrade from 720p to 1080p...but it still looks amazing as is. Plus...110" screen

and that will be bigger too eventually.

I was going to PM this to you Camaro, but figured it might help out others......

The Suggested AVIA settings for the HC-1500 are

Contrast: +9
Brightness: -1

A front projector can also be ISF calibrated. I would consider it. Most multi-plexes have calibrated projectors.

Thanks! I set mine up using my DVE for blu and mine is at +8, 0.
