That's pretty damn cool! I wonder if the light actually works? Wouldn't that present problems for shipping? Especially if importing?

Hi rickah, of course the lighter will work. There are a lot of collector's edition in Germany with actual Zippo® lighters, like the

Premium Edition for instance!

Happy to help you today btw

I'm laughing that it says "a mans job" since there was one woman in the movie.

Haha! You are all over the place today!
Did the lighter have lighter fluid in it? Just seems like this would be a "red flag" at US customs. Unless it were labeled as such, instead of just "blu-ray" or "media". Just kind of struck me as odd, but I guess it's not that big of a deal, if US members have received that set you mentioned.

The lighter is of course filled with lighter fuel I think that's just no big deal in Germany

Here are a few other Blu-rays with lighter:

All from Paramount incidentally

As importing in the US, I don't know… I guess some members have these editions, as the shipments would be labeled as normal "Blu-rays", how should the customs know that there is a functioning lighter in there? I can't imagine that there could be problems, but what do I know?

Like this much better than the Zavvi steelbook.

Studio Canal did the Zavvi one so not region free. What about this one. It's Splendid Film/WVG?

Splendid is usually Reg B and I can never play the discs in my hacked Region Free Insignia. I have asked about it before in Detroit's thread but I guess it got overlooked or no one else has experienced it before

I would get this set if I had the last two German hero packs, it does look awesome though.

Me too, i already have Zavvi one on pre-order though, and that matches the two previous steels artwork a little better.

Yeah I am not a fan of the artwork used for the Zavvi steelbook but at least it matches up with the other steelbooks.

It was an Amazon.de exclusive. Sold out years ago. Some from private sellers on Amazon Germany starting at €192 for a sealed copy. Ebay's probably your best bet for cheaper prices.

Actually, it's a gasoline lighter that of course is not filled with anything. You fill it up yourself.

Thanks!

Looks like Hero Pack dropped a little as well. Hopefully we get a little bit lower on that one

Is the lighter included in this set a genuine Zippo or will it be a lookalike ?? (Price seems a little low if it is a genuine Zippo)
