I hope their catalogue gets picked up by somebody. Garrrrr!
I also hope someone gets a slap for doing that to the employees.

Damn what a shame

I especially love Tartan as a distributor and in my opinion one of the best, they really opened alot of avenues in film for me and I commend them for releasing really underground, obscure, fantastic films.

I think I have every Tartan Blu-ray released in the UK:

Black Books
Im a Cyborg
Old-boy
Paranoid Park
Proposition
Seventh Seal
Sky Blue

and I would recommend every one, there all fantastic films and have amazing AQ/PQ

I also have Funny Games, Tale of Two sisters , Lady Vengance, P2 pre-ordered, really hope they make it out

Oh no! Seems like "Funny Games U.S." is cursed for some reason... able to shut down Warner Independent and even Tartan.

I hope "Funny Games U.S." still gets released, though. I've been looking forward to owning that for months!

well funny games and a tale of two sisters are meant to come out on the 28th and they are still up for preorder with a bit of luck they are still going to release what they have announced to release.

Funny Games has a new distributor and will be released on July 28th. No news on Lady Vengeance, A Tale of Two Sisters or P2 (doesn't look good for those 3 sadly).

As far as I know a company called Palisades aquired most of Tartan US and UK's library and plans to start DVD and Blu-ray releases in the fall. So that is when you may start seeing these films pop up again.
