Default First console and game you've ever played.

For me, it would have to be the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. I think the first game was from the Mega Collection, either Columns or Super Hang On. But my favorate game on the console would have to be Streets of Rage. Once I get a Wii, that'll be the first Virtual Console game I'm getting. Since then, I have loved the company. Hell, I even wanted a Dreamcast back in the day. God I heart Sega.

I got an Atari 2600 for Christmas in 1980 or 1981.

I can remember playing the horrible conversions of Pac-Man and Donkey Kong.

At one time or another, I've owned every video game console released in the U.S. after the 2600 except for the 5200, 7800, Odyssey, Omnivision, Intellivision, Atari Jaguar, and Neo-Geo.

My first was one of the Atari's with Donkey Kong and some game with a chef and burgers or something.

The Nintendo with Mario and Duck Hunt was another early one for me. Excitebike, Kung Fu, Contra, and Bad Dudes were some of my early favs.

I also remember the first time I played a Sega was Altered Beast, loved that game!

Atari 2600 and Space Invaders. They were my Christmas presents in 1978 or 79 I believe. I still pull the system out every now and then and blow an afternoon.

First System

1st home console game I ever played was table tennis on the Magnavox Odyssey around 1972. Cool stuff on a B&W TV. I went to see it with my dad in a very expensive boutique store in Times Square New York. It was a big deal at the time to see a game on the tube. There were no graphics other then a single dot of light. You had to put translucent plastic overlays on the screen to complete the effect. No CPU or sound, just transistors and diodes.

But we never owned it, much too expensive. My first system was Intellivision, the computer that never was. But we had lots of fun with it.

Other early game/computer systems I remember

NES, Mario and Duck Hunt back in Peru.

When I moved to this country, one of our first family purchases was a SNES and Super Mario World. Got an N64 and Star Fox way back, then a PS2 and Madden 02 when I was a sophomore in high school, back in 02...and finally I bought myself a PS3 last October,

Wait, I went above and beyond the question,

The first game I ever played on TV was in Odissey II in 1979; I was 5 years old, don't remember exactly the name of the game but it was a racing game; the Odissey II was a very slick game console for it's time.

Don't worry bro, you get to share your thoughts on your console history and how it went. I've already been through all the PS consoles after my Mega Drive.

Atari 2600. We were the coolest kids in town not having to go to the arcade to play Pac-Man and Space Invaders.

Earliest one I can remember is I think Double Dragon on the NES when I was 4 or 5.
