Batman Begins released early at Wal-Mart & for 24.83$ - Blu-ray Forum

Just got back from my local Wal-Mart in Moncton, NB & they had about a dozen copies of Batman Begins in their Blu-Ray section for 24.83$

Hadn't seen any other Canadian sighting/deal threads, so I thought I'd throw in this heads up.

Actually this seems to be the regular price. Best Buy and Future Shop advertises Batman Begins for that same price.

That's cool, it just hit me when I was looking through the Blu-Ray section & came across it, I was like, "Isn't this only supposed to be out next Tuesday... 8 days from now?"

I'm alittle giddy, this is the first time I've ever bought anything before it's release date. LoL

If I find it early at my local Walmart I will buy it, then returned it when I get my copy from Amazon.

Did they have the limited edition too or just the regular Mega Prime?

All I saw was the regular edition in the Blu Section. (Sort of a mini-kiosk in the middle of the aisle outside the electronics dept at my local store).

They may have had the limited edition stashed somewhere else in the electronics dept, but I doubt it. They usually keep all Blus in the same spot.

True. For some reason I thought the release date was July 1st. Pretty unusual for it to be that early. I'll check if they have it here on Wednesday.
