Default Ideas you would like to see get made into movies?

For me:

A gay main character in an action or superhero movie.

Satirical horror movie about paranoia of the illuminati in the entertainment industry.

A horror/thriller about "organized gang stalking". Similar to something like "The Game (1997)", but not exactly.

Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash and Diamond Age. I also want to see the Anne Rice Chronicles properly adapted.

There has been a crappy straight to video low budget film and a few horror films which dealt with the case tangentially, but I'd like to see a big budget dramatic film about the Donner Party catastrophe. Maybe it's just too bleak and gruesome for it to get made, but it's a fascinating story.

A big budget, faithful adaptation of the novel Carnosaur is something I'd love to see. The novel was published six years prior to Jurassic Park and has a lot of similarities, it's quite clear Crichton must've read it and been, ahem, "inspired" by it. Unfortunately, while JP got a big budget, Spielberg-directed adaptation, Carnosaur was stuck with low budget trash only made to cash in on JP's release.

Parasite Eve. And not something like the movie we already got but a direct adaptation of the game.

Pretty interesting idea. I wonder if they'd remake the movie first, as it was an adaptation of the novel, to which the game was intended as a sequel.

On Gacy: Devin Ratray (from Nebraska and Blue Ruin) would make for a great John Wayne Gacy. He has that sinister look to him (while still having the ability to have a goofy-like facade).

Some of my ideas:
- an famous actor (such as Christopher Walken or Paul Giamatti) plays every single character in the story
- The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street...with superheroes
- a military vs. aliens movie where the aliens are the good guys (also, the movie is entirely in a constructed alien language with subtitles)
- an animated version of A Confederacy of Dunces (Richard Linklater would be the perfect director for this)

A film taking place entirely within a military communications base during, say, the same war as Fear and Desire (that is to say, an ambiguous war, no war in particular, albeit it would probably look better if it was more old fashioned). There would just be one guy at a desk, getting transmissions from the front lines, which would get grimmer and grimmer as the film went on.
