Yeah, they released this one a little late (should have released it during the summer), during the onslaught of the first nice wave of PS4 games after a long drought. You have a nice line up of games to complete, have fun.

It's at times challenging, but usually always fun. The timing of the blocks is more sensitive and critical, and there are no warning Triangle icons that appear as in other games (Arkham and Mordor) to give you a heads up. If you press triangle to block too early, Wei will stand there kind of stunned and you'll be open to attack. Later on though, you can earn an ability to ease up on the timing of blocks, making the fighting easier.

Just watch some gameplay videos on Youtube to get an idea of what it's like.

BUT it's not the same as actually playing the game. That's the beauty of Share Play? If he enjoys what he plays then he'll buy the game if not then he hasn't wasted valuable ££ or $$.

Well, since no one volunteer to let me try it out I took a leap of faith and bought the game and I am glad that I did. I am having a blast playing this game. I usually play a game for a few hours and then don't go back to it after 4 or 5 days but this game has me coming back for more and more! Can't believe I didn't play this last gen, what is wrong with me??

That's about how I felt when I played for the first time back in 2013. I knew nothing about it and really went into it with no expectations at all. It was a complete breath of fresh air for me and it sucked me in almost immediately. I would have invited you but I haven't picked it up for PS4 yet.

Ah damn. I would have helped you out, been looking for a reason to test out the Share option. Still not completely sure how it works.

Cool. How do you like the city? It's a large city, and don't forget to visit the new island added in the DLC up north, via boat.

The city is amazing! it truly feels like real life Hong Kong. As far as the DLC, this will be one of the few games that I will complete everything the game has to offer

KingBing, good to hear. There are some great city visuals in the game, agreed. The map is quite large. What I love about the game is the martial arts and how you can find thugs to fight anywhere in the game almost. Freeways are great too.

Just started this game to get a feel for it. I like it, nut some points do feel clunky, if you don't press the counter button at the right time, you will get your ass kicked. And the I don't like the driving controls. That may take some getting used to from me though.

I've noticed some fake sounding Chinese accents from NPCs, but the Cantonese in the background is pretty authentic. Voice acting is pretty solid from the main cast is pretty solid. Kinda reminds me of Assassin's Creed games when they try to have fake accents for the region.

Anybody else think the subtitles are really darn small? I had them on for all line initially, then changed it so it would only come on when characters spoke Cantonese (The Hong Kong dialect is not the one I grew up with, plus my Cantonese isn't the greatest).

I didn't notice the accents sounding fake, but agree that the voice acting for the main cast is really good.

For the timing, yes, it needs to be right, and not too early or he'll just freeze in a stance, open to attack. Later on, with the upgrades, you can recover faster from mistimed blocks.

I'm considering buying it again on BF, if they have copies left. I got the plat on PS3 and absolutely loved it.

I hope there is a part 2. Square Enix is very concerned about sales though with their games. Tomb Raider did well and they still weren't satisfied, stating it didn't meet their expectations for sales.
