Not sure what to think of it so far, the little mini wireless Les Paul is pretty cool, the tracks it has are decent but playing the blasted thing, it seems I can't hit more then two notes at a time, not sure if my fingers are not hitting the buttons right or if my strumming is off, but I know one thing for sure, its not at all like playing a real guitar.
This marks my first guitar hero game. Always thought the game was cool looking, but playing it is a bit different then I thought it would be. I was going to pick up rockband but I heard that game is better if two or more people play |

Well of course it's not like playing a real guitar AT ALL, Guitar hero has 5 freaking colour buttons and a button that you move up and down.
Anyways, remember, practice makes perfect and start off easy. And yeah, I find Rockband to be more of a party thing. |

![]() The PS3 is off to the side a bit and I am standing pretty close to the TV too, then there is a chance the batteries are weak. I will tinker around with it a bit more |

Be warned that the wireless Les Paul for the PS3 has a completely inexplicable lag which never should have existed in the first place.
If you are playing GH3 on the PS3, I can not recommend more going and buying a 3rd party guitar, any, as the one made by Red Octane is garbage. |

Well I see you have just started! One thing if everything is working right then all you need to do to get better is practice! I do agree with all the posts that say the Les Paul (wireless) isnt the best controler and does cause some minor issues. Apart from that it shouldnt kill the experiance unless you want to get to the top of the leaderboards!
When I first started I thought I would never 5* any song, but after a while you just get it! Enjoy! GHIII is heaps of fun! |

On the Xbox 360, the GH3 guitar works for Rock Band and the Rock Band guitar works for GH. For the PS3 this is not ture. And I have heard the same for the Wii but cannot confirm this. AFAIK, ONLY the Xbox360 version of the guitars work with both games, not the other systems.

http://store.theantcommandos.com/pro...r-ps3-adpt.htm I use it it its works pretty well except for the star power delay. You could also try a Frontman guitar which is $50. |

For some reason, on the new Areosmith GH, the lag doesn't seem nearly as bad. Of course, the game is easier, overall. But GHIII has been very frustrating at times for me on the PS3. |

I just got GH3 wireless bundle today
And for a long time i never bought it due to everyone on the message boards saying...360 version is better...ps3 version lags...and theres some weird thing you have to plug into the guitar for the ps3 version...ALL i have to say is....WRONG....i plug in...theres a piece that looks like a guitar pick...you plug it into the usb port on your ps3...and it automatically picked up signal...very easy!!!....the game didnt lag or anything and it looks great...runs smooth....I wish i wouldve got this a long time ago...its a great game! i recommend it to anyone wondering about it...And dont listen to the rumors...its a fine running game and the guitar worked easy for me no complaints... I was wondering...if they sell the aerosmith faceplate tho...i dont want the game but the faceplate looks kinda cool ![]() |
