Germany The Divergent Series: Insurgent (2015) Blu-ray 3D [Region Locked / Free]

Well I gotta say this is an awesome surprise! I think calling it the Divergent series sounds retarded, but stupid naming aside, I'm pretty excited and happy the sequel is getting the 3D treatment. The posters look pretty badass too. What do you guys think? I don't know about anybody else here but I enjoyed the first film, even with it's flaws that are attributable to the source.

This is a nice surprise but why the heck they didn't do the first movie in 3D is beyond me. So annoying to forego it on the first movie then do a 3D version of the 2nd movie.

Native or converted? Incredibly silly name either way. The first film fell apart in the final act imho and the first act left a lot to be desired as well. Hopefully it gets better but the first one felt like a poor mans Hunger Games.

Yeah it would have been great with the first in 3D as well. Its kind of like Harry Potter where only deathly hallows is in 3D but i can live with it

Can't they do a 3D conversion of the first one and release it on 3D blu ray (perhaps when the 3D sequel hits theaters)??

I actually hope they change a big outcome in the last book

BIG SPOILER DO NOT READ IF YOU DONT WANNA KNOW

[Show spoiler]That Tris dies in the last book is awful. And i know many fans hated it to. It had no point to it. So i hope they correct this in the movie Series so that she does not die there. If she dies it would also hurt repeat viewings in a big way. So i hope she get to live on in the movie Series
so i hope they are smart to make that change

Takes to much time. But they could make it when INSURGENT hits blu ray and 3D blu ray next year

I enjoyed the first one as well. It was a lot better than I thought it was going to be.

YES! We need to setup an automatic petition form to JJ Abrams asking him to correct the first Star Trek and convert it to 3D so we can complete our sets

Agreed! There's quite a bit in the first movie visually that would have benefited from the 3D treatment. Oh well, better a bit late than never lol

Tried to find it out by looking at the speical effects and camera crew departments in the cast and crew list on IMDB and I found zip information. One of the guys on Marketsaw said it's converted according to his knowledge and to stay tune for more info. I have a feeling it's native instead. It shouldn't be to hard for the production to adjust to 3D cameras imo and they have the advantage and goodwill already from becoming a new successful franchise imo.

I feel this way about the awful Mockingjay

But at least that book had enough salvageable parts to work as the starting point of a movie. Allegiant is just all kinds of broken right from concept. I recommend the movie team ignore it altogether and conceive their own finale.

I really had no real problem with the ending of Hunger Games book series
[Show spoiler]because Katniss lives yeah her sister dies but Katniss lives

And yes like you say they should change Allegiant so i really do hope they change the end for Divergent series. People were already outraged when the book came out
[Show spoiler]when the saw Tris dies.
Would be insane if the movie is keeping this. Because people hated it
[Show spoiler] and wish she lived
. So now they got the chance to correct it and get more ticket sales as well.
[Show spoiler]Because with the ending from the book it will not sell well in the theater in repeat sales and home entertainment sales. With and ending where Tris lives they will get their money in

Though this movie isn't something I'd see normally unless it was on TV, it's good to hear it's getting 3D, and surprising, agreed. Hopefully they're going for strong 3D and not a fast cash mild 3D conversion.
