Dragonheart fans have been clamoring for a third film for years now. This is probably not what they've been waiting for, but in any event, it actually doesn't look completely terrible. Plus, Sir Ben Kingsley is in it, he wouldn't do a bad movie

You aren't missing anything. It was a horrid DTV sequel with Robby Benson as the Dragon.

Wasn't the eldest brother from Malcolm in the Middle the main character in the second film? I still have never seen it...

Christopher Masterson was the lead, and having never seen Malcolm in the Middle, all I can tell you is he played Francis.
