By "sold out" does it mean preorders are not yet available? If so, why are Zavvi even listing it on the site?

It's what they do for every new listing on their site, it shows SOLD OUT until it goes live. It's been one of their biggest issues that they decide to ignore for whatever reason.

And to add insult to injury, Zavvi just redesigned their website. One would figure that would be a golden opportunity to make such a small, but meaningful, change.

So who's releasing this, then? Studio Canal? It used to be EiV. Maybe I can exchange it for the Lionsgate Region A which doesn't run on my player.

I guess they were too busy concentrating on making sure your steel arrives as damaged and ruined as possible.

Actually, noticing that Gangs of New York and American Psycho are also due steelbooks, have EiV done the unthinkable and gone into the world of steels?

I guess that slip they did for American Hustle must have been a great success.

While I wish Zavvi would invest in some bubblewrap, I can't really complain too much there, as I've only had 2 damaged steelbooks arrive from them. A lot of that depends on what happens to the package between point-A to point-B, and Zavvi has no control over that.
For the most part, I really like Zavvi and what they release. It's just the little, seemingly, easy fixes that they don't do, which causes me to scratch my head.

Like this release, for example, I'm quite glad Zavvi is "stepping up to the plate" and taking a chance on this older catalog titles.

To you maybe. I buy steelbooks for the packaging AND the content. If it's just the already outdated EiV release then no thanks. (If it's a port of the US release that's another story!)

damn, my favorite movie and zavvi doesnt accept PayPal anymore. It seems I have to buy it for more money on ebay. I hope they use the original movie poster as the front artwork and this as the back artwork
