Default Hard to buy these movies

Does anyone else find it hard to convince yourself to buy some movies, I don't know why but alot of movies I want to have in my collection but I can't convince myself into buying due to the fact that I can watch them for free on TV. Like the Kill Bill Volume 1+2 set that's coming out in September, well I love these two movies, but they play them like more then once a month on TV, I know it's not blu ray quality but it's 1080i (I have DirecTV HD), and looks fairly good, with TiVo I can fastforward the commercials. Another thing is that some of these catalog titles you can buy the DVDs for less then $10 and the blu ray will cost almost $35. Like Batman Begins, I was looking in the BestBuy circular and it seems there putting the DVD for sale for $6.99 this week, the same week the bluray comes out. It's hard to rationalize buying the blu ray (in my mind at least). Rebuying movies I already have on DVD is almost impossible for me, the only movie I'm considering rebuying once it comes out are the StarWars movies due to the fact that there my favorite movies and I really want to watch them in high def, but other then that, I can't get myself into the mind of buying many catalog titles at all due to the fact that there played on tv often or that I can buy a DVD for really cheap. What do you guys think about this, also put in consideration that I have owned a blu ray player for 9 months and I own 5 blu rays, so I don't buy tons of movies, also over the last about 11 years I have bought about 30 DVDs, so for the guys here who own 50+ blurays and hundreds of DVDs probably have a very different mind set/budget then I and your opinions might not really be relateable to mine.
