I have to give props to JJ and co.

They've kept everything under wraps until the very end. They were adamant that we know as little factual news regarding this movie until they wanted us to know. No leaks or anything. Just rumors and casting announcements. You don't see that too often anymore.

It's funny how cynical I was when the new films were announced (compounded by the sale to Disney), and yet now that we're about to get the first teaser for Episode VII, I'm as giddy as that little kid who played his recorded VHS tapes of the OT to death, went to see the Special Editions in theaters, and got so excited over the prequels coming out every three years from '99 to '05.

It's nice to have it reaffirmed that I really am still a kid inside.
