I knew those trailers were parody, I was offering my opinion on the two that I watched.

Yeap, my bad. Bad editing, I started to say something else and wasn't proof reading what I said.

Here's a curious question. How many of you will be getting ALL the future Star Wars movies on Blu? For me it's a bit of a toss up. I may just pick up the Episodes VII, VIII, IX, and getting the stand alones, assuming I like them, on digital. I'm kinda in a saving space mode and only getting certain movies on disc.

As a content Star Wars fan, I couldn't be happier!
I've never watched Rebels. Or Clone Wars (Except the movie which I own). I'm not big on TV Shows much, but I just love the films. All of them. Every single one. The prequels are near and dear to me because I saw all of them in the theater as a youngster and that leaves a lasting mark. Man how I wish I could go back to that. Back then I didn't care about "wooden acting" or "atrocious characters" or anything else. It was just pure fun before I got older and started hearing and letting all the hate about the prequels in. Then I watched them on Blu and fell in love again, and yet it can never truly be the same as back then. It's close when I'm watching them now though.

It's interesting how they use the word "clearly" in reference to the most speculative things.

"Clearly" you can see the lightsaber. "Clearly" the M.F. is on Tattooine.

Considering some of their other comments, these f**kers "clearly" have more of the movie figured out than most of the actors and those attached directly to the film.

These trailer analyses are silly. One and done.

If the spinoffs are any good I'm game to get them. The Episodes are definitely must buys.

If I can find room for The Ninth Gate and The World is Not Enough I'm pretty sure they won't be able to make a Star Wars movie so bad I can't find room for it.

I've thought that it looked familiar.

I like weird designs, but this one is really odd. She's sitting on a jet engine (or something), she could burn herself and never get to reproduce(!).

I have a feeling that's she's an inventor, that she built that speeder herself. A talent inherited from her grandfather.

My understanding is that Liam Neeson was originally meant to come back as a force ghost but actually refused when asked, or at least cited shooting schedule conflicts. Causing a re-write of prequel scripts.

Interesting. Saw that on UK blu-ray last week, and I thought Guardians of the Galaxy was a good, very much fun sci-fi adventure film. And that first trailer seemed very much indicitive of the final end product.

True. The past was briefly mentioned in the prequels (Anakin's miracle birth, Darth Plagius story, Clone trooper origin, and midi chlorines). The past was briefly mentioned in the OT mainly by Obi Wan, Yoda, and Vader (mentioning of Clone Wars, Anakin being a friend once, Anakin actually being Vader, there is another). So overall, the past was referred to in just a couple of sentences of dialogue in both trilogies.

I don't mean to rant, but as hypocritical as this may sound, for now IMHO, none of them. I will watch Episode VII, as well as the rest of the other Episodes (the first six being under the direction of friends and elsewhere, but not in my own home). Now and when, only if when Disney and Co. decide to finally re-release the OT uncut, will I ever give any thought to owning any of those films on Blu-Ray; Nevertheless, uncut for the first time.

IMHO it seems quite sad and demeaning to fans and the film industry to create something only to not have anyone see or own all 7 films (sometime in 2016) as they were originally cut. To know that the first three films (out of seven) are the only films to have been altered and edited, is truly a shame within such an enormous franchise, that being STAR WARS. To see the likes of Alien, Die Hard, Fast & Furious, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, James Bond, Jurassic Park, Mission: Impossible, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Trek, Terminator, Transformers, and X-Men to hit the big screen on multiple occasions, to have never been altered or edited in such a way, only has me question the source and the studio, if you are truly interested in supporting such a franchise

The only future Star Wars films I have any interest in purchasing at this moment in time are the Theatrical Cuts of Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi. I the three new films don't suck and don't reference the prequels in any way I would pick them up. As for the individual character films it is the same, as long as they don't suck and they don't reference the prequels then I will think about it.

I already have the fantastic 6-film BD set, and I'll be picking up everything that Disney releases.
Keep the Star Wars stuff coming!
