FINALLY!

Universal usually does great work with Spielberg titles, hopefully they also port over the extras from the 2-disc DVD and maybe even add some 10th anniversary retrospective. This is great news!

If we are lucky Speilberg supervised the transfer. AFAIK he has for every one of his films on BD with the exception of Jurassic Park, which is why it looks terrible.

I'm not a big Spielberg fan, but this is definitely one my favorites of his. I'll get this assuming some decent extras.

I think theatrical. I'm still crossing my fingers for a release of his first movie, the TV movie Duel.

Sort of, at least as director. We are still waiting for individual releases of Duel, 1941, and The Sugarland Express as they have only been released in the set. Also, there are some other movies of his missing: Something Evil, Firelight, and Savage.

Actually, his first feature length film was Firelight in 1964.
