I'm wondering if this will be a Best Buy exclusive.

Munich is an interesting film for me because the first time I saw it I thought it was a little overwrought and didn't like it, but I watched it a few months ago on HBO and loved it. Will definately buy.

I'll bet this will be another best buy exclusive... where they get to release a year before everyone else does.... like Porkys, Out of Sight, or Escape from Tomorrow.... there are others.

It hits harder than Argo.

It makes you ponder some difficult questions that don't have any definitive answers.

There is quite a bit more action than Argo, but I wouldn't call this an action movie. Every piece is anchored in drama.

The BB listings were showing "ONLY @ BBY" on Mobile so I think it's basically already confirmed.

i hope you are right. They are even reporting about this on a german blu ray site. Its that high profile. I hope the exclusive deal will not be long

I just watched this the other night for the first time. It's certainly a good film, but it has no replay value for me.

I will say that the third act is very well made and haunting, though.

In a bit more than the time it takes to type this and/or complain, you could PM any one of the numerous folks who've posted "Day One!" to this thread--especially if they have a high trade score--and offer them some incentive to buy a copy and ship it to you.

I would think, at the most, 6 months would be BB's exclusivity window on this. I would still check Amazon, as they might list for preorder in that time, to ship when the exclusive window is closed.

Retailer-exclusive content is usually done for recent theatricals, yes (e.g., Ghost Protocol, Oblivion)? IOW, this will likely be exclu for a while and then the exact same release with the same supplemental content will go wide . . . right?
