Default Random Question! Calibrating TV using HD DVD player but only watching Bluray

Hopefully this doesn't end up being laughed at TOO badly! I've tried to read up on this but haven't found anything.

I have a Toshiba HD DVD Player (HD-a30kc) that I haven't used in many years but have a Digital Video Essentials HD DVD calibration disc set. I got it on clearance for next to nothing when the format was discontinued...

My question is this: Can I calibrate my LED TV using this HD DVD player and disc and then ONLY use my PS4/any Bluray player for all future TV watching? Will the calibration be "incorrect" as different players will output a slightly different picture? I'm fairly certain it will be fine but I figured I'd throw this up here for some open discussion.

Ideally this will be totally fine and not require me to buy a new calibration disc...

Many thanks for any help/opinions!
