Wow!
So glad I grabbed this one when I did. I just got it cuz I love the flick and couldn't wait for a US release (if it ever even happens) and couldn't play the HD-dvd a bud gave me. Never thought it would be rare and valuable.
If you have to have it, ebay is about half the price of the amazon. But region B discs are still in print, affordable, and 1080p (although this looks great for 1080i).

Sleepless in Seattle from Twilight Time hasn't sold out yet, it is on your list.

All Twilight Time movies should automatically be on the list. They are OOP as soon as they street.

Just checked and it is not sold out.
I think limited editions like this should wait until they are sold out from their primary retailer before joining the list. Otherwise we might as well put em up when pre-orders go active. The spirit of my perfect list is things you can't just buy at retail anymore, this one you still can.
Or, a different color and/or font to mark them as technically OOP, but still cheap (retail or less) and easy to order.

Again, OOP is not the same as OOS. Wuthering Heights has been OOP for a while, but Amazon still gets inventory from time to time. They also got some leftover stock for The Lion King last year -- it doesn't mean that Disney manufactured some more.

For Manson Family, the Blu-ray only version is also OOP.

The Canadian release of BLACK CHRISTMAS (2006) has been OOS for a while so it is most likely OOP. Weinstein never released it in the US on Blu.

Does TT press their whole max print run all at once though for every title? I'm sure they made 3000 copies of THE TRAIN immediately, but I know the limited edition film scores SAE distributes are often done in batches, as there's demand, and they sometimes never print their max. For example, did TT really press 3000 copies of Paul Greengrass's RESURRECTED? I'm genuinely not sure and curious.

The BD/DVD combo is still in print so I will leave it off the list.

Not sure it makes sense to include Criterion's The Last Emperor just because of the package change. There are several others that fit into that category but the titles are still very much in print. Just my .02.

Re: Manson Family. Severin said they were pulling the title completely off the market so the combo is technically OOP as well.

It's a great early Greengrasss film, before he had discovered his trademark handheld, documentary style. I'm glad it got a release, the UK DVD looks like dirt in comparison, but I somehow doubt it will ever sell 3000 copies.

Just for kicks, I added 1000 copies to my cart. They auto-limited it to 50 copies. I wonder if they auto-limit all titles to 50 or if they really only have 50 left.

The cart game has been disabled for a good while now. Yes, anything over 50 copies will just show as 50.

Thanks!

This is the first BD I've bought from Twilight Time. Thankfully, it's not a popular one.
