I mean, this movie is targeted towards women, and women aren't huge steelbook collectors unless I'm missing something. It seems like a lost opportunity for Best Buy to actually make an exclusive more geared towards the demographic (like $10 Ebook money, a digibook, just about anything else...)
Yeah, I think this what I'm most bothered about - the missed opportunity. If Best Buy wants to make an exclusive for this movie with paraphernalia for the film, I won't try to stop anybody from buying it. And if they want to be tongue-in-cheek about it, at least market it as a "Steelebook".

If Best Buy is going to pick a film for a steelbook release, I wish they would have made one for a more deserving film like John Wick, Birdman, Foxcatcher, Whiplash, Nightcrawler, etc. They may not get the same hype as 50 Shades, but at least they'd make sense. We only get so many steels, I wish they would have made it count.

Oh well, I guess it's good for the minority who liked it.
