3D fans 2D movie discussion thread

The point of this thread is to talk about 2D movies from the perspective of 3D enthusiasts. Clearly, we all watch 2D movies -- we have no choice. We could discuss our thoughts and opinions in other dedicated 2D threads, but our group seems to "see things" a little different compared to non-3D movie watchers.

Interstellar: excellent 2D movie. I watched it last night and was glued to the screen from beginning to end. Chris Nolan's story is amazing, the acting is primo, visual effects are out of this world. I enjoyed the shifting IMAX aspect ratio.

Throughout the movie I kept thinking to myself: what a phenomenal 3D presentation Interstellar would have been. Of all of the recent 2D movies I've viewed, this one SCREAMS for the 3D treatment. Even in 2D, it's a mesmerizing experience.
