How cool are the film cells? Would be great to get an important part of the movie.

Got to grab me one of those steelies, I think the BB one looks a little cooler so might grab that.

I think the BB one is the FS one. Same thing. HMV one is different.

The film cells are pretty neat -- the Interstellar thread has turned into a "Post your film cell" thread since the release :P

Depending on what cell you get, they could be worth a lot. There was one cell going for $170 USD on eBay last I checked.

Yeah I know. FS doesn't exist anymore. BB is the one with the Steelie now. Think I prefer this cover on the frozen planet vs the HMV one on the water planet.

Its a really good idea. I think many other releases should try it. I usually wouldn't buy a Steelbook unless it is on sale but with this one I feel like I have to get it while I can because they will be gone. True collectors item.

I would be sooo disappointed if all I got was a truck headrest LOL. Sorry chaingunsofdoom.

I got a nice pic of the glacier. At least when global warming melts all the glaciers, I can show my kids if I have any, what a glacier was.

Future Shop Steelbooks have been showing up at HMV. For instance:

Picked it up for $15 at the Chinook Mall HMV. There's three more on the shelf.

The space shot sold for $202 USD. If I could get that much for one, I'd just sell it on eBay and then buy another copy or copies of the film.

It looks like quite a few people with a film cell that shows Gargantua have found a way to cash in. Quite a few now on Ebay. Here's another one.

Yep, I was at Walmart yesterday holding the Neo Pack and thinking: "Man, wouldn't it be nice if I lucked out and got one of those..."
That lasted about 3s then I thought: "Neh, I'm never that lucky", I put the Neo pack down, went home and ordered the UK digibook LOL!

I'm hoping the 2 new Hobbit steelbooks show up on Best Buy as other steelbooks are starting to pop op on their site now.

ha, judging from your avatar you would think a neopack would be right up your alley.
