I have only seen one Road Warrior and Thunderdome each in my bin.

It seems a consensus that the original "Mad Max" is no longer in the bin.

I saw at least 2 copies in my bin last weekend.

I've never seen it in there.

I keep thinking of picking up the Hellraiser 4 movie set. I know it's probably got all 4 movies compressed on one disc but I've also heard these movies aren't that great so 7.88 seems about the right price point for me.

Quick, somebody talk me out of it.

Yes, the Hellraiser (and Children of the Corn) 4-Film titles are all on one disc. As a fan of the series, though, I'm happy to own it!


Two notes:

1) I actually bought the Hellraiser & CotC sets wrapped together at Best Buy for $7.99 back in 2013. Eight movies for $8!

2) If you're a fan, this is what you want (until a complete set is released):

Technically it has never been it $7.88 bin but the bluray/DVD combo pack was on a $6 rack back at WalMart in August 2012 when I bought it!

I got my BD/DVD copy cheap too last fall at Foxconnect for $5

Whether or not you wait for the miraculous "Complete Sets", just make sure to get these releases of the films, if you're going to purchase them at all:




The "Midnight Madness Series" releases are garbage.

Hey strumdogg how's the picture quality of the 4 pack Hellraiser set? Compression artifacts?

I am not ever expecting a full series box set like Halloween got so I may jump on it while I have the chance.

You found Hellraiser Deader in the bin too? Isn't that blu-ray worth a ton of money now?

Honestly, I've only watched the first one..."Hellraiser: Bloodline." I have nothing to compare it to, but I assume it's as good as the DVD (no pixelation as far as I saw)...The total time of the set is 6 hours on a dual-layer BD.

Then again, do I need to get these four films each on disc? No, and I wouldn't expect a complete box either (like Halloween), since more rights-holders make it worse. I would love more special/bonus features though!

EDIT: $140 new or $60 used is not a price for a former (even OOP) Walmart bin BD!

Yeah I just randomly happened to notice how much it was worth when I was looking at the other blu-rays for the older movies. I didn't even know the series had this many movies now. And that sorta bugs me knowing that that one movie is out of print and super expensive so it'd be expensive to make a complete set.
