No:
[Show spoiler]The villian is a collector of Sith artifacts. Which is why he has Vader's helmet and Revan's mask. It is also (presumably) why he is chasing Luke/Anakin's lightsaber and stumbles across our heroes trying to return it to Luke.

Now, that makes more sense.

I luckily have the day off-- but even so, all my plans for the day have been thwarted because I've been watching the trailer and reading reactions all morning.

That is some level 10 nerd stuff right there

FYI, even the comments section on Harry Knowle's site is overwhelmingly positive. That is absolutely UNHEARD OF.

This trailer is one more reason to be excited about Avengers: Age of Ultron (as if I needed another reason). Seeing this on the big screen -- can't wait.

Batman v Superman trailer... Ant-Man trailer... Star Wars trailer... then Avengers movie. What a time to be alive.

Ah, I was wondering how Anakin/Luke's original saber was in the trailer given that he lost in in Empire.

Maybe their gravity is different? Maybe the ship is made of a different type of steel? Maybe it almost landed and crashed at the last minute. Don't read too much into it. This is a Science FICTION movie.

My God, that trailer was awesome. Sitting here at work watching it, smiling from ear to hear, with goosebumps, and giggling like a little girl. Never considered myself a humongous Star Wars fan or anything like that, but that hit all the right buttons. I think I'll freeze myself like Cartman so I can thaw out in December. Cant wait!

I have to admit that I never got into Star Wars (I know! Don't kill me!) but this looks too damn beautiful to lure new fans like myself.

J.J Abrams did that for me with Star Trek in 2009, I'm keeping the faith he'll that again for me with this one.

Can't wait!

Yeah I was explaining to some younger people recently that we currently live in a "Geek Utopia" at the moment. We're seeing movies like Avengers, Batman and Superman teaming up, and apparently a crap-ton of new Star Wars from various filmmakers.

Back in my day (yeah I'm turning old man) we had... what? Tim Burton's Batman? And then an entire decade of crap like Steel, Spawn, Batman & Robin etc throughout the 90's. I think the only exception was Blade. No Star Wars movies, and when that finally happened... (I won't elaborate).

The hand giving the Lightsaber is a bit small and CGI-ed to be Mark Hamill, the other hand looks a little red as well.

John Williams' score for the OT should've somehow reeled you in by now, but in any event, WELCOME TO THE PARTY!

Episode VII is going to look gorgeous!

I've seen the trailer dozens of times now. I've read all the spoilers. I can even tell you what's happening in most of the scenes. The biggest impact is just how INCREDIBLE it looks! The cinematography is pure Star Wars! The acting really looks, based off of what I've seen, like the actors really threw themselves into it!

Expectations for this just shot through the roof, I think...
Personally my most eagerly-awaited film of the year. Had my doubts, I have to admit, but looks like J.J knows what he's doing...

So this is how twelve year old girls felt when The Beatles landed in their town.

It's a pretty cool feeling.
