Default Marvel teams up with 12 years a slave writer for unannounced project

So many different ideas of what this could be.

The project supposedly involves reinventing another Marvel character for ABC, according to EW, but it's unclear who that would be. Daredevil, Marvel's most recent TV release on Netflix, did likewise with the titular hero in Hell's Kitchen.

Ridley, in additon to his Oscar for best adapted screenplay with 12 Years a Slave, executive produces ABC's American Crime drama, and is attached to the upcoming 2016 Ben Hur remake as a writer/producer.

Both Marvel and ABC are staying quiet in regards to the project, which will be the fourth Marvel property to make its way to TV. News of a new Agents of SHIELD spinoff series also broke recently, but details are scarce with that as well. Stay tuned to IGN as more news rolls out.
