Finally got Fang. Also got my 2nd Gally on same raid.

Took forever but completed the Thorn and Invective bounties and can't wait to try out both weapons. Still have to do the Pocket Infinity bounty.

Im slowly getting back into the game. Havent played much since the Blu Vegas trip but we have slowly started raiding and this week I did all 3 nightfalls and weeklies I know!

Even leveled up my 3rd fatebringer a bit last night doing a daily lol

Uncharted 2 was the biggest thread before this game. It was a monster of a thread in its day. It sits at nearly 15,000 posts, covering about 4 years. But that's what happens when you make a great game. Albeit, U2 was nearly flawless, whereas Destiny has many, many holes. But my point is that tons of people played/are playing these games, so that's why their respective thread is huge.

That's an amazing thing if scouts can get a full auto roll. That's my favorite type of primary...a Vision of Confluence type of gun.

So, on the subject of Ascending, I have the following questions:

Ascending a maxed out 30 Light armor piece or 300 damage weapon from the original Destiny sets ends up in...

...a light 42, 365 damage weapon.

Ascending a maxed out 36 Light armor piece or 331 damage weapon...

...is L42, 365 damage.

Ascending a brand new 279/300 or 302/331 weapon or 18/30, 24/36 armor will NOT fill you out to max, you still have to fill out the last node in order to max out. Or anything that isn't completely filled out at all.

Correct Lizard, ascending old weapons/armor will only take them to the new levels.

If you have say a Fatebringer that only is upgraded to the Rodeo perk, when you ascend it, you will only increase it's attack rating to something over 300 and you will need to upgrade it's 4 power level perks and Vex perk to get it to 365. Ascending it will not complete the rest of the upgrades.

If you have a fully upgraded Fatebringer, when you ascend it, it will be 365 attack and you're done.
