I have all of mine double boxed from Sideshow. A damaged shipper = damaged box. Don't like all that. Plus it helps with packing them in storage when they have the shipper.

And mertz, Bane doesn't have double bend at the elbow so his posing options are quite limited. I do want to see what you come up with!

Dang. That really blows.

But I've worked with much less before. I should have him by next week Saturday. Cap looks like he's out for delivery today, though. But I'll more than likely have to pick it up at the post office at lunch tomorrow.

Does anyone collect...Iron Men? There's just so many of them, I'm wondering if there's actually someone who specifically collects all of them or if most people just cherry pick the one they want?

If there are "Iron Man completists" out there, they are very few in number. That would be an unbelievably arduous undertaking both in cost and display/storage space.

Now, I bet that there are many who have multiple versions of Iron Man in their collection. However, almost everyone (no matter how many units they own) has to be selective to some degree with regards to that line of collectibles.

Myself? I love Iron Man! But I have the same attitude towards my figures as I have towards my Blu-rays... "Only 1 version in my collection at any given time."

As much as I wanted to buy a fully armored Iron Man figure, they are more than I wanted to pay. I've been eyeing the Mechanic figure for a while. I'd REALLY like the Workshop IM3 Tony, but it's gone way to far out of my range. If I'm gonna collect hot toys, I want their incredible likenesses to shine. The mechanic scratches that itch.
