While I love strong 3D pop outs, it's tough for a film to find a story driven excuse to include them in nearly every shot unless the movie calls for it based on its theme. See Turtle's Tales 2 as an example of constant pop outs thanks to the fact they're swimming in water as if floating, allowing for maximum pop outs in many shots.

But yeah, relating to Avengers 2, the pop outs were hardly there.

I've yet to see Avengers 2. I have seen I think two films in cinemas this year, neither where worth the price of admission either. I prefer just watching from the comfort of my home with better video, audio, food, drinks (if I so desire) and more comfy seats.

Once I add the cost of fuel etc, it is just cheaper to flatly blind buy films I want to see in 3d then seer them in a cinema, doubly so if I wait for a sale on 3d blu.
