Having just rewatched III because my kids picked it and I'm a pushover, I will say without a doubt Revenge of the Sith and Attack of the Clones are equally terrible. Phantom Menace is at best somewhat tolerable, despite Jake Lloyd and Jar-Jar. No way in hell is Sith better than Return of the Jedi. The cool part is both my boys decided that when it was over, they never wanted to watch Sith again and were requesting to watch the teaser for The Force Awakens on repeat. BRING ON TFA!!!

I agree, after recently watching all the prequels ROTS is easily the worst of the three. For all of the reasons you stated and it's so ridiculously dark it's impossible to have fun watching it.

Rumor is that it's going to air during the Giants vs Eagle MNF game? I have to imagine they will simultaneously release it online? I can't remember ever seeing a full 2+ minute movie trailer play on television...Have you guys?

I have but it makes sense since disney owns ESPN.

Okay folks, I think it's pretty much confirmed now that we'll get the official poster on Sunday and the full theatrical trailer on Monday night. This is it, you'll see Star Wars Episode VII - The Force Awakens stuff everywhere you go beginning next week.

I meant everywhere, as in the general public not just us fans. Except for the toy store, I don't see anything about this film anywhere in my country, not even the logo teaser poster in the theaters. The TV had a channel dedicated to Star Wars but 90% old stuffs and I know only fans subscribed. Nobody here talked about the teaser trailers when they were released, only among fans. I mean I tried but they only said "oh there's a new one?" and continue on to talk about something else, they didn't even asked me to show it. The few times I went to see some films in theater this year, not once I see the teaser trailer. They have to sell this to everyone, not just fans. So yes, they should begin promoting this film in full gear for the non-fan general public, next week.

Maybe that's how it is where you are, but in the U.S., promotion for the new film is everywhere and has been for several weeks. You can't escape it.

Well, makes sense as that's where it all started. I'm not sure about the rest of the world, a lot of ticket sales from them for sure.
