No clue what it's name is, but I've had the space for over 12 years now, so probably too late to name it.

Anyway, here it is:



Throughout my time in this house, there's been a constantly changing rotation of gear in here, but this is the version that's the most current and has remained the longest (and hopefully will for a while).

Also in the picture is a pair of ONIX ERTs (Extended Resolution Tweeters) placed on top of each of the front channel speakers. On top of the main Salamander equipment rack is a Musical Fidelity A3 CD Player followed by a Musical Fidelity A324 Upsampling DAC on the shelf below (with the black piece of cardboard blocking the ridiculously bright blue lights). Underneath the center channel speaker (to the left of the PS3) is a DirecTV HD DVR. Behind the right front speaker (only slightly visible) is a JBL Studio subwoofer. Behind the main equipment rack is a larger, secondary Salamander equipment rack (you can kinda see the blue interconnects) housing an Odyssey Stratos 150W x 2 stereo amp (powering the front L/R channel speakers) and five Marantz MA-500 monoblock amps (140W each) powering the center, surround (x 2) and rear center (x 2) channel speakers (not pictured). Lastly, there are DIY acoustic panels hung on the walls along with some Eighth Nerve corner acoustic room treatments.

Not shown (picture coming soon) is the rear of the room which has a black microfiber reclining loveseat flanked by two Axiom QS8 surround speakers on the walls to the left and right, two Axiom M3 bookshelf speakers directly behind the loveseat on stands serving in the rear center position and a JBL PB12 subwoofer in the rear corner behind the loveseat to complete a 7.2 channel system.
