This franchise wouldn't even exist if it wasn't for George Lucas. This film wouldn't exist if he hadn't passed the torch. Show some respect.

Tickets purchased.

Noon on the 18th.

As for the trailer... Swwwwwweeet.

Although, with Han kinda being featured in the trailer,
[Show spoiler]I am a bit concerned that he peaces out. The trailer shows Rey with Han at a few different locations and then it shows her crying. I believe with her drifter lifestyle there aren't too many people she would cry over... Except her new friendship with Han
[Show spoiler](her dad perhaps?)
changes that.

[Show spoiler]This trailer coupled with the Lego set of Rey with Chewie in the Falcon makes me think Han peaces out.

A group of us will be going together to see this. I suspect we will need to arrive early for the good seats and so we can sit together.

Guessing an hour to two hours early might be the way to go.

Anyone else going early as well?

It almost sounds like Gwen Christie. Captain Phasma?

This looks totally like a Star Wars movie! I just can't wait.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he struck a deal with JJ, doing the film if Han was killed off. If that doesn't happen, and he shows up for Episode VIII, I'll be thrilled...but given the age-old stories, something tells me this will be Ford's last entry.

1:50 mark of the trailer looks like an attack on a trench of the Starkiller base.

We know that he's in the movie, though, so I think this is J.J. jusy playing around with his "mystery box" again.
He loves that mystery box.

My usual approach for new releases is going to a matinee around 4 or 5 PM, showing up 30 minutes early. Its worked very well in the past, so I'm not expecting any huge problems.

And I think we all still respect him for the original trilogy (and always will).

But the line does get drawn somewhere. And him passing the future off to other filmmakers is the best thing for the franchise.

I don't think Chewie would let him go out by himself if Han dies then hopefully they are together guns/bowcaster blazing, HAN SHOOTS FIRST!!!!

Agreed; as much respect as I have for Lucas, the series needed fresh blood. I was extremely skeptical of Abrams since I hated the 2009 "Trek" reboot, but this trailer makes the film look very promising. I hope it all turns out well.

Fandango is now trolling us.

“Something funny is definitely going on. We’re getting to the bottom of it,” a Fandango representative told The Hollywood Reporter.

If Han dies, I'd love for it to be at Kylo's hand...which then causes Leia to brandish a lightsaber and kick his ass.
