Ok so I just looked and it still says my order left bell gardens on the 26th. And since then there has been no updates. The expected delivery date is today. However the USPS website doesn't have it arrive at the local post office or that it's out for delivery. I hope my order didn't get lost, I'll wait if it doesn't arrive in the mail today I'll have to call USPS and see what happened.

It probably got sent to the wrong local USPS and is being re-routed.

On another note, Sailor_Moon_NA responded to my tweet about the encode issues from episode 80.

"@Pikagreg We're looking into it now. Thanks for sending this over."

Good stuff! Not issuing replacements for the pillarboxed DVDs is one thing, but it's unforgivable if they don't do anything about this.

It finally arrived sailor moon r part 2 blu ray and Rightstuf preorder art cards

Just noticed one of the art card has a imprint on it. The sailor moon card, I don't know what it is.

You can barelly see it in the pic. When you hold the card up close you can see the imprint clearer.

That's definitely a isolated problem, mine is fine. You should contact RS about getting a replacement set.

I contacted the sailor_moon_na Twitter and they are sending me a new set of cards. So just because of that one they are sending me a new set, I guess they can't break up the set.

I just watched that episode 80 on my set,

I hope Viz offers a replacement for Disc 2 of R Part 2.

I don't understand how if they knew about it from the Hulu issue, and they fixed it there, that they didn't bother to make sure it was fixed on the BD set too. But I guess Viz doesn't have very good quality control.

Since Viz distributes through WB, you could probably look at how they did things in the past as a pretty good estimate of what to expect.*

With the Batman '66 set, two discs needed to be replaced and they just sent out the discs without asking for anything to be sent back.

*Just because they did something in the past, doesn't mean it will always be that way.

Can viz media stop changing the image qualty of the blu rays? I swear each release it get worse. R part one looked liked they took original print and just put a filter on it. Now r part 2 looks like they used the same brightness from the first season release. Oh well at least we are getting these out.

Mine finally shipped today. Annoying thing was, mine was NOT a partial ship. In fact, two other items were being held until Sailor Moon came out. So I find it odd they couldn't just ship my complete order on time. Disappointed. And now there's an audio problem? Ugh.

I wonder if the audio was fixed on hulu after they had already created the blu rays for sailor moon r. Maybe that's why they didn't noticed the error or just forgot about it?

At least they are better quality than the season one, though that's not saying much considering season one was a complete trainwreck. I didn't notice any ghosting with R, like I did with the original, and they didn't kill it with overuse of DNR.
