Finally got a chance to watch the Italian BD and was generally very pleased, although I must say I'm amazed no one has commented on how dark the numerous night scenes are. Daytime scenes are gorgeous but, in direct comparison to the old Medusa DVD, most of the BDs night scenes lose so much important detail in the blackness that it's sometimes difficult to tell what's going on.

I've avoided buying it due to the major black crush.
