Question Player with HDMI cable

I'm looking at purchasing either the Panasonic DMP-BD30 or the Samsung BD-P1500 players. All of my audio (cable, xbox, bose dvd player sound) runs through a Bose 3.2.1. reciever/speakers. I need an HDMI cable to be able to upconvert standard definition DVDs, but does the HDMI cable handle the audio as wells as the video, or will the players have another audio out so i can run it to the Bose speakers? I don't really know too much about Blu-Ray players so i apologize for the probable simple question. Please Help! Thanks.
