Default Digimon
So Digimon Adventure Tri looks pretty interesting, and like a lot of fun... But I've never watched Digimon before. Is this a sequel series to the original?

Anyone able to educate a little bit about the show in general? Is Tri something I could just jump into, or should I watch the older stuff first?
